Joining a local church is an important step in growing as a disciple of Jesus. No Christian was ever called to "go it alone". Everyone who puts their faith in Jesus belongs to the community of believers and is a valued part of the "body of Christ" (See our Beliefs page for more on our understanding of the Church).
With that in mind, we are so grateful for anyone reading this who is interested in taking that next step and becoming a member of Grace Commons Church. Although our events, community groups, and worship are open to everyone, we also recognize the value of Christians coming together in a covenant relationship to share life and ministry together.
That is what membership means at Grace Commons Church. Members are those individuals who are "all in" with what God is doing in this ministry and who have taken vows to uphold the teachings of the church and to support its ministry through their prayers, their presence, their gifts, their service, and their witness in the world.
To become a member, you must be a baptized Christian who has made a public profession of faith. If you have not yet been baptized you may do so during the same service in which you become a member.
You must also attend our New Members Class, which is held regularly throughout the year. This is an opportunity to come together with other Christians and explore more fully what we believe as a church, what it means to be a part of the Global Methodist denomination, and the importance of our membership vows.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us by filling out the information below. The pastor or a leader in the church will reach out to you to answer any questions and get you signed up for the next membership class.
Thank you for considering making Grace Commons Church your home.
